Where do you stand on your own list?
Have you ever noticed that, more often than not, when the schedule overflows… the first thing we cut is ourselves?
We rush. We forget to really breathe. We drink our coffee cold (okay… Mel actually prefers it that way, but still 🤷♀️)
And the things we’d do just for ourselves?
Pushed aside. For later. When we "have time."
But… self-care isn’t a luxury.
It’s a foundation.
A need.
A right.
It’s not something most of us were really taught.
Not at school. Not at home. Not in the "do more, be more" culture.
And yet…
Taking care of yourself is what keeps you alive.
Present. Patient. Healthy.
And most importantly… kinder to yourself.
But where do you start?
Here’s a simple idea for today:
📓 Make a list of 20 things that make you feel good.
Not chores. Not “shoulds.”
Real things.
Things that feed you.
Big ones. Small ones.
Obvious ones. Forgotten ones.
A song you haven’t played in forever.
A warm bath.
A slow walk.
A soft cookie.
Five minutes of silence...
And then?
Pick just one.
And do it. Not tomorrow.
Right now.
Like, right now.
Because you deserve for it to start today.
Because you are the priority.
